| Honestly a big reason to hire a licensed plumber is so that you can get someone who is insured. No one is perfect so you need to make sure that company has insurance to cover any mistakes that could be made. We are fully insured up to 1 million dollars. We have never had to make a claim on our insurance but most people feel a little better knowing we have our liability insurance. |

Another tip: When you are putting a lot of food down the garbage disposal make sure you run plenty of water and only put a little down at a time. If you jam a whole plate of food down at once it could clog the drain pipes.

Tankless water heaters:
Tankless water heaters can be great. One thing most people do not realize is that you have to upgrade the gas line and venting for the tankless water heater. It usually costs 2 -3 times as much as a traditional water heater.
Sewer Clean Outs:
If you have ever had a sewer snaked through a roof vent then you know how expensive that can be. If you do not have a clean out for your sewer line then look into getting one installed. It is almost 1/2 the price to snake a main line through a sewer clean out.
Drinking Water tests:
Check with local water testing agencies to see the quality of your water if you are drinking it. There are many concerns with what is in the water. This is a safe thing to do. |
